About RedBird ReDesign

ColleenColleen opened RedBird ReDesign’s doors in 2011, after spending years helping friends and family renovate kitchens and baths, rearrange furniture, and put finishing touches on their homes for fun. A casual comment from a friend, “you should do this for a living!” started the ball rolling.

RedBird’s niche quickly became ‘livable’ design, which is a coordinated, polished look that is welcoming and functional and doesn’t break the bank. Collaborating with clients to produce designs and solutions that reflect their personality and lifestyle is central to RedBird’s process. Integrating personal items, favorite pieces, or a family member’s special hobby makes each project unique and more successful.

Colleen lives by to-do lists and shared calendars, never misses a deadline, and looks for any excuse to make a spreadsheet. RedBird ReDesign loves a challenge! Bring us your cluttered, overworked family room or cramped pink and black tile powder room and let’s turn it into a showpiece! Prior to establishing RedBird ReDesign, Colleen was an urban planner focusing on livable and sustainable communities and transportation. She has degree in business, a minor in creative arts and design, and a Master’s degree in urban planning.

Our Team

The RedBird team includes Colleen, two senior designers, two associate designers and a project photographer

Annie

Our lead designer, Annie, has a talent for translating a client’s needs into beautiful, functional spaces that reflect their unique personality. No cookie cutter designs! Annie is a skilled communicator and project manager and loves guiding clients through the process of cultivating their vision, finding creative solutions, and bringing the design to reality. Annie comes from designing for Ethan Allen where she honed her knowledge of furnishings and developed a refined and energetic style. Prior to studying interior design she taught history to high school students in Washington, DC and her genuine desire to help and guide others shines through in her work with RedBird clients.

Glari

Bria

Introducing Bria, our Associate Interior Designer who sees every space as a puzzle waiting to be solved. She discovered her passion for interiors while exploring the rich design culture and architecture of DC. To her, interior design is about starting with the foundation and thoughtfully layering in the pieces until everything fits just right. A graduate of Marymount University, she brings a fresh, expressive approach to every project — blending function, beauty, and personal style with intention. When she’s not designing, Bria loves searching for vintage treasures, reading niche design magazines for inspiration or rearranging her space (again).

Angie

Angie is an interior designer with a background in pottery and printmaking, bringing a refined sense of texture, form, and materiality to her work. After studying at SCAD and beginning her career in Hilton Head, she developed a deep appreciation for textiles and patterns. Her approach to design is both intuitive and intentional, creating spaces that inspire balance, discovery, and a fresh perspective.

Alison

Alison is RedBird’s dedicated project photographer. She developed her love of photography while capturing the daily activities of her three kids and quickly became the go-to photographer for family and friends. Her interest in interior design has helped hone her skills in showcasing rooms, furnishings and design details. Alison’s exuberance for telling day to day stories through images allows her to capture the creativity and thoughtful design that goes into Redbird’s work. Alison has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in business administration. She has come a long way from the days of helping companies plan and implement retail strategies, but she meets each project with care, precision and creativity.
